“Little Emperor” by Sheila and Ron Ruiz is a beautifully compact bronze sculpture created through the traditional lost-wax casting process, starting from an original clay model. Ruiz meticulously sculpts each figure in clay to capture feminine elegance, curving wings, and dynamic posture. From that original, a mold is created and each bronze is individually cast, hand-chased and refined, then finished with hand-applied enamel/patina work that highlights the form and texture.
This process ensures each piece is subtly unique, making Little Emperor not just décor but a collectible work of fine art.
