One of my earliest subjects of inspiration for paintings has been evident in my multiple depictions of the zebras.
A fascinating animal that comes alive through each work with profound significance, projecting the essential qualities of harmonious behavior, empathy, the power of community, protection and respect for one another.
My intention with the creation of each zebra painting is for such values to become evident as they reflect my close family upbringing since childhood.
